Day 5 in Bangkok. We did not get to see Samantha today, because she was busy with the princess of Thailand. The princess came today to the orphanage and the children performed for her. We will see Samantha first thing in the morning. Oh by the way Rachael and family. We found out that Samantha likes stuffed animals with short fur. She also likes barbie dolls. She is not as fond of doll babies as we were originally told. So far she seems to like puzzles, paper dolls, making things, stickers, and bubbles. She seems to like the idea of painting her nails but we have to wait until she is officially adopted by us here because they do not paint children's nails here.

Jay and I did some sight seeing today. We bought something from the floating market. A store on a boat. We saw some of the houses that the Thai people live in. We saw children swimming in the river, people bathing in the river and doing laundry in the river and a dead dog floating in the river.

We took two boat tours, and saw some Thai temples with budda, There is alot of poverty here. There are many beggars on the sidewalks. They have a cup and ask for money. It is heart breaking. Many of them are blind or lame. Some with no limbs or missing some limbs. On a brighter note, we are 1/2 way through here in Thailand. One more week to go. God Bless You All, Anita and Jay

Hi Jay and Anita, We're glad you got to do some sightseeing. Really makes you appreciate all the things we take for granted, doesn't it. One more week and we get to welcome you home. Andy and "friend" came for dinner last night then we watched the first half of App whooping up on Delaware. They made history- 3 in a row ! Final score was 49-21. Went and had a visit with Jake yesterday- at least he thought that is what I was there for. We may get a little rain today. Had about 15 min worth on Thurs. Love Mom and Dad
